DoulaCare Certification.

We are offering you the chance to certify with an organisation that helps to set industry standards for doulas. We believe every parent needs to be nurtured and supported in this important chapter in their lives and that doula support can be the missing link in a system that dismisses and often ignores the challenges of pregnant and birthing families and those navigating life with a new baby. Just as we nurture and support our clients, here at DoulaCare we are focused on nurturing and supporting you as a doula as you begin this new and exciting chapter in your life.

Both Mary and Jen decided to Certify as Doulas when they trained, and we have used this process to improve on our Certification process and make it easier for a doula to become certified - while ensuring that the process is designed to increase your learning and knowledge.

We will help you evolve and grow your doula career and profession. Our Doula Certification process is one step on that journey.

Certification

We offer the option to certify with our Irish organisation.

We have designed our Birth and Postpartum Doula Certification curriculum to help new doulas feel prepared and confident to work with families during their pregnancy, brith and transition to parenting.

Both Mary and Jen decided to Certify as Doulas when they trained, and we have used this process to improve on our Certification process and make it easier for a doula to become certified - while ensuring that the process is designed to increase your learning and knowledge.

We know how busy you are, so we have allowed for a degree of flexibility in our programme that takes into account the fact that the majority of our students are adult learners, who are juggling other commitments on their time.

However we feel Certification and ongoing learning is crucial to being a doula and ensuring the profession continues to evolve and adapt.

Our in depth training program includes the in-person training or live interactive zoom sessions (during COVID19), sharing of experiences and evaluation, home study, and additional coursework.

For more information please fill in our form below and we can send you on an outline of what we require in our Certification process. You can also read our article here
